The new layout, only with the south-amarica butten and the new point 65°, is great. I hope the new kajak has a bilgen-pump too and i hope you don´t need this pump in spite of it again.

I just finished reading your book last night, working,ha! third shift I loved it and loved reading of your adventures. you are such a motivation and inspiration. I will be beginning my first long distance(for me) adventure down the coosa river through Alabama, USA then eventually as work allows on down the Alabama river to the gulf of Mexico. total trip 631 miles. I expect to do about 225 miles in seven days starting the 15th of April.Five or Six Dams to portage around will slow the pace. I’ll be keeping up with your blog till then. I’m learning a lot from your blog and reading the book. Good Luck and safe Paddling.

heute war ein Bericht über Sie in der Sonntag Aktuell.
Ich freue mich, dass Sie diesen Trip wagen und fühle mich Ihnen verbunden. Vor 3 Jahren habe ich Südamerika mit dem Rucksack bereist. Ich bin etwa in Ihrem Alter und finde, dass Frauen in dieser Lebenszeit irgendwie unsichtbar werden. Medial, privat, beruflich.
Aber Sie sind alles andere als unsichtbar. Außerdem freut es mich, dass Sie sich in einer Zeit, in der alles und jeder immer auf die Notwendigkeit und Unabdingbarkeit von Teamfähigkeit verweist, zu Ihrem Einzelkämpfertum bekennen. Tu ich auch und werde dafür oft schief angesehen.
Was die Leute darüber sagen, dass Sie als Mutter eine solche Reise wagen, anstatt zu Hause Ihren Sohn zu behüten, kann ich mir ansatzweise ebenfalls vorstellen.
Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute, Gesundheit, gutes Gelingen. Und passen Sie in der Magellanstraße bloß auf sich auf. Üble Strömungen! Aber Sie wissen das sicher längst.
