Saturday I was driving with Peter to Lengenbostel behind Hamburg to pick up my new Freya expedition kayak in carbon I will use at home for exhibitions, talks, demo and paddling. This boat was actually meant to be for Peter to use in South America when he would have been escorting me once again. He was missing out the last leg (good for him as it was the toughest one of the whole trip), but there are still about five months left to join in and where we can ship it over!

Thanks to Steffen from Kaitts to receive the kayak while I was still in South America. He is a Point 65 dealer and has a large range of kayaks online at kajakprofi.de and in his two shops in Lengenbostel/ Hamburg and Berlin to chose from on the spot. There is an outdoor pool to try, or a lake nearby if you feel you need to go on the water while deciding which kayak you may like. Great place, great choice, friendly people!
