37.29 140.00, Beachport. 75 km, 5:00 a.m. to 8:30 pm. A mostly calm day aside from the last three hours of moderate headwinds. After Robe a big swell was breaking on the reefs – stay away! After Nora Creina I paddled about 10 km inside the reef, until it was unprotected again.

Freya, from those of us who have spent most of the last year living vicariously through your trip updates, thank you. You have inspired many a kayaker, I am sure, to go out there and push their boundaries just a little further. I know I will. Most of us will never do something this incredible with our beloved hobby, but we thank you immensely for sharing your journey with us. freya you breezed through victor harbor like a breath of inspiration to young old male and female it was good to meet you when you pass this way again be assured of a warm welcome…. remember the ocean is as unforgiving in the last 100k as any all around the coast ..i wish you well take care …phil dingsdale
