I’m on the homerun…thanks to all for your support!

I had some spare minutes the last days to work on what may seem to someone who doesn’t know me like a “huge bible of egoism”…

my “Best of…” 2009 guest book is ready!

You have all right in the world to ask “why I put together a “Best of…” book?”

There was one comment on the 19.09.2009 from Pam – “You must be the Queen of positive self-motivation!” …I think this goes directly to the point and probbaly inspired me eventually to put such a thing up. Thanks, Pam!

Reading the quintessence of all your great supportive comments after a tough day really brings me up again…thanks very much for all those praises! (updated regularly)

Don’t worry…I’ve got Greg who brings me down to earth again :-))

Hello Freya,

You’re almost there thank god. The last leg is always the toughest since the goal is within your grasp. Take very good care and reach safely.

All Australia, and the world wish you best of luck coming round the bend.

Trinidad kayakers look to you as the goddess of sea kayaking. Take care and we’ll be rooting for you at the finish.

Best wishes to all your support crew , sponsors and your family.

There is a saying in spanish that goes “In the oven’ s door you may burn the bread”. Yes, you are in the homestrech of your lifetime adventure. In mountaneering ,most accidents happen on the way down from the summit, when the climber is less alert,on the home strech. In sailing ,a downwind is dangerous,I sail and I prefer a side wind…even a headwind. Please be careful with downwinds from here on and be alert.Do not let premature triumphalism overcome you.Best ol luck and clear waters.

Only read in our Dutch newspaper last friday of your trip. I presume 250 days to late, but be assure. We from Holland will look enthousiastic to each next step.

It’s great to see you around the cape and on the home stretch Freya! With luck, you’ll have following winds from here on. You’ll need them as you pass the cliffs of the Bight,,,but you’ll handle the Bight, as you’ve handled everyhting else!

Hopefully, I’ll see you when you pass through Victor Harbor. Keep on paddling, and inspiring the rest of us!

Hallo Freya,

ich habe Dein “Best of…” 2009 guest book mal kurz inspiziert.
