Even if Horst Gadermann looks seemingly quite uninterested on this pic (sorry I don’t have a better one of the two of us…) – he was the one organizing the ticket-pre-sales for the shows in Husum, Kiel and Hamburg through his shop Gadermann Kajak Import. Thanks very much, Horst!

Thanks to Dirk, Bootshauswart in the RDE, checking the entrance!

Udo Beier, Referent Küstenkanuwandern im Deutschen Kanu-Verband und Beauftragter für Küstenkanuwandern im Landeskanu-Verband Hamburg, and his lovely wife Helga. Udo was one of my first German sea kayaking mentors. Thanks, Udo!

Tomas Meier from paddel-meier in Hamburg enjoyed the show as well. He was designing sea kayaks himself for years, but retired now and gave the shop to his daughter Marion

I was happy to great another part of my family – aunty Isi, cousin Hannelore plus her husband Peter and her son André, plus my cousin Wolfgang.

Wolfang was so nice to help organizing my Toshiba laptop and got it started with all the programs prior to my trip. Thanks again, Wolfgang! Unfortunately he has to suffer now from a brain tumor. I’m wishing him mental and physical strengh for his fight!

Ulrike and Eckart Pfeffer’s 10-year old son survived my talk best with Gameboy and Coca Cola (Sorry I’m missing a pic of his parents!).

Eckart invited me to speak at this year’s Seekajak Woche in Spiekeroog as well, celebrating this year the 25th anniversairy of the German Salzwasserunion!

Thanks – and congratulations!
