I like to thank Eckart Pfeffer and his wife Ulrike for not only getting me to speak at the Seaakajakwoche in Spiekeroog, but for organizing the whole event! Eckart did a great job and was actually the one to invite me to join. It was a pleasure to be back to the roots of my seakayaking career!
Ah, yes, and it takes four hours to paddle over to Spiekeroog from Neuharlingersiel – just keep Spiekeroog to your left! 🙂

Many thanks to Freya for her exciting briefing about her “Race around Australia”. It was a great pleasure to have Freya at the German Seekayak Week 2010. This event was arranged by the Salzwasser Union e.V. (www.salzwasserunion.de) in August on the east frisian island Spiekeroog. We are curious for her coming paddling adventures.
