Sorry it took so long to upload something this time, but my own camera wasn’t working well, and I was hoping to get sent some pics from other people. Thanks to Dorthe to allow me to upload some of hers.

A big thanks goes to Peter Unold, probably not only Danmarks most versatile paddler, initiating the talk! Unfortunately he wasn’t able to attend himself. But he was able to delegate the presenting job to Ravn Hamberg, experienced long distance sea kayaker as well, who was so nice to introduce me.

At the end of my talk, Ravn presented me a special diploma by the Dansk Kano & Kajak Forbund, in honor of my long distance paddling achievements. It says:

“This special honorary diploma is awarded to Freya Hoffmeister for her extraordinary achievements within long distance paddling. The solo journey around Australia in 2009 is one of the most outstanding performances in paddling history”
