Just as I was approaching Malin Head’s rough side, a sport fishing boat was sitting in the sheltered bay and was just coming out again, up to me and was waving – I waved back, but their waving rather looked like a straight arm up – STOP! Well, despite they may not know what I can paddle – I felt right to follow their obvious advice!

I had a date with Catriona Woods tonight, she was so nice to sign up to deliver e a new gas can right to the beach and a few goodies I was asking her to also shop at a supermarket. I didn’t expect she a was bringing the supermarket to me!!! Two large plastic bags of great food to choose from – I couldn’t take it all! But good new food, especially fresh fruit and veggies, is a great mind boost for the next section of the trip. Unfortunately, she couldn’t reach my cove with her car although there was a nice driveway and two houses, one with a car – I was obviously camping besides a private ground, gated a few hundred meters up the driveway with a heavy looking electronic gate.
Is that the way Ireland is presenting their visitors the rough northern most beautiful tip? I saw also a very new and solid looking fence far into the beautiful rough headland. Amazing that the community allows this…

But instead of reaching it all over the fence, we found a way to sneak through, and Catriona walked down to the beach with me. It was almost like x-mas! First the yummy fresh raspberries and Blueberries were disappearing quickly into my stomach, I needed a vitamin boost! I unpacked all the stuff as usually from their bulky packages into zip locks, while we had a nice chat. Thanks very much, Catriona, to look after me so well! Unfortunately, just the gas cartridges were the wrong ones, but now she has a reason to come back tomorrow and hopefully bring more berries 🙂!
