Cove Bay
My calculation was right, with some effort the first hours against fresh wind and ride, but getting lower wind soon and tide turning around 5pm, I eventually happily flushed across Belfast Lough with 8 km/h and arrived at my sandy Cove just in sunset.
Not much to see on the coast, first road with low hills, crossed Larne Bay and enjoyed the Goblins cliffs with some really nice seemingly freshly build coastal metal walkway. But it was closed, few rails were missing.
A ferry at Larne Bay and one at Belfast Lough crossed safely my path coming out of some mist, but all good paddle in some mystic evening atmosphere.
Off tomorrow, too unfriendly headwinds and not enough rest to at least catch a few hours of the favourite the morning tide. Thursday and Friday will be fine!
