Crohy Head
It is pissing down all afternoon! Has this country actually also something like summer weather? Sunshine all day, blue sky, temperatures around 20 degrees?
As nice as the scenery is here, as bad is the weather – yesterday evening I saw a few sunrays, this morning it was at least mostly dry. But low winds make me rather falling asleep on paddling…
Some nice rock scenery again for 15 km in the morning, tunnels, arches, caves, the usual pleasure play on paddling. One long tunnel cave was inhabited by the oldest gray fat seal I have seen so far, and he was splashing around me showing clearly it’s his territory here! Some yucky foam bath inside some cove, and more arches and caves.
At he end of the rocky shore the most pretty Irish one so far pleased my eye – “Black Billy”! The next one someone simply cut off– guys, watch out!
