Derrick Mayoleth – Kayak Quixotica
Derrick Mayoleth
Derrick Mayoleth is my webmaster and a key member of my publicity team.
In June 2006 he posted my first “blogger” blog; soon to be followed by my own website.
Initially, he was extremely helpful in editing and updating my site. In March 2008 he showed me how easy it was to work with “wordpress” – a user-friendly program for a “non-professional” web editor like me…so now it’s a pleasure to update my paddling news by myself.
Not only has Derrick recently completed the first circumnavigation of Puerto Rico, he runs “The Mother of all Kayaking Blogs“, which probably gets the most hits worldwide of any similar site.
Derrick also runs a successful web-service company “Baraboo Interactive” in Wisconsin, USA. Even though he’s busy helping a large number of satisfied clients he always seems able to provide timely answers to my “simple” questions about the web. He’s a smart guy with infinite patience.
I really enjoy working with him and feel grateful to for his valuable work. Thanks Derrick!

Hope we’ll have some fun on meeting again one day like here on the Canoecopia 2006 after show party!
