We did good to not paddle yesterday, as it was raining a lot on Friday, and today nothing until we were dry in our tent anyway. The goal was an a bit doubtful river mouth camp with bad satellite picture, but we assumed it will be similar to the first landing in the big Kuskokwim river mouth with a high grassy ledge. And so it was. we were very relieved we did not have to push on, as landing was only on a low high tide in the evening. But even an hour before, the tub was full enough to land perfectly on the bottom of an opening in the about 1,5 m high grass cliffs. We camped as last time just close to the water, where the driest spot on the grass was. All good! We should be able to launch tomorrow way before high high tide around 11 am, and will have a wonderful rest to be fir for tomorrow’s 65 km leg to Hooper Bay’s beach.
