It was a day for online business as usual, and I did a long skype call with Ricardo from SDK kayaks in Argentina and with Daniel Heft as a translator to coordinate all the arrival party plans. We agreed on everything, so probably the “official” arrival will be one day later on May 3rd, but still on the long weekend. Friday and Saturday will be free then for any other social kayaker events they will plan.
I will also arrive from Uruguay in the north of Buenos Aires at the Club Nautico Barrancas rather than on the Quilmes Yacht club in the south. Not sure yet which day and if I cross or hug the islands of the delta, but it will be much earlier than May 1st. The weather does not look too bad for the next week, low to moderate north winds. I will post the”official” invitation with dates, times and locations soon, both for the arrival from Uruguay and for the “official” arrival weekend schedule.Just stay tuned here on my blog!
