My skin is better, no doubt. Amazing how fast it regenerates. Still I rather prevent that rash, or would have loved to stay another day. But I was looking at windguru’s week forecast, Tuesday, also Wednesday are quite low wind days. I need to take those days to get around the normally very windy top of the peninsula Paraguana. I have three days to get there, with Saturday low, Sunday strong, Monday moderate headwinds. I hope I’ll be reaching Adicora by Wednesday night. If not, plans have to change 🙂
Is there anybody who knows an (airconditioned) place to stay around Adicora? I appreciate any help! Next stop will be in Puerto Cumarebo.

Teresa, the hotel manager was so nice to drive me to a supermarket today to shop fresh water and fruit. Again the same view, long queues of people shopping mostly the same items, this time not really for smuggling over the boarder to Colombia, but rather because it’s just available today and maybe not tomorrow. The only item I am worried about to get here or not is milk powder for my cereal breakfast. I saw piles of soya milk powder, some baby milk seems also available, but regular milk powder? I may have to get back to the baby state…

A short pres interview followed, and I rushed back into my air conditioned room to cure the last skin bits to be fit for the next section. Teniente José Gonzales paid me a visit in the hotel, the coastguard seems to like to escort me for a while on the water, hope they are getting bored quite quickly…
