No paddling tomorrow!
After a noisy night, the wind had turned also and was creating a cold draft through an unfilled window pane. It was more cold than in our tent! Thanks for the now dry fleece inlet right over my ears, and for my fleece scarf around my head which also use to cover my eyes on an not fully dark sleeping place. A traveler’s life is so hard…
The jobs for today were as usual, going online for e-mails, chatting to my family, uploading pictures, preparing the next legs. Washing the kayak and gear, checking for spots to repair, letting it dry in the sun while shopping for food with the taxi service of a nice lady club member. Thanks! Then we did the necessary repairs, and the day is over already.
Tomorrow will be food packing, more repairs and e-mails, and then there will be a big asado (barbecue) tomorrow night due to the public holiday tomorrow. People already went crazy shopping for tomorrow’s big day’s event! They already had some kind of regatta with surf boards and small sailing boats on today’s bridge holiday, and the club was quite busy. We also got help on a few repairs, thanks!
