I was arriving back in Buenos Aires from the weekend in the Estadoe del Ibera at the wee hour of Monday, 5.30 am. It was one of the scariest car rides in my life, driving almost 18 hrs on doubtful Argentinean country roads partly through the Argentinan night :-). Usually I fall asleep on long drives – not so this time…
Two hrs of sleep at “home”, then off to the plane to Sao Paulo/ Brasil, where THULE is holding their South American marketing meeting.
I was invited as a guest speaker to present my trip to all South American THULE importers of each country. It is a great chance to networking and socializing with THULE people to become local helpers and press managers!
A nice small crowd of two TV stations and about 5 other press people showed up to listen very interested to my presentation.
Lunch was quite an experience – in a fancy and very busy Churrascaria in the middle of Sao Paulo!
Waiters are coming every minute to your table, offering delicacies and cut the meat directly from the BBQ skewer to the plate, hot and spicy! Best meat I ever had! (well, after the Aregntinean Asado last weekend… 🙂 )
Can’t say THULE doesn’t take great care of me! Thanks!
