Sunday afternoon Alejandro, Juan Pablo and I went to El Tigre on a test paddle for my kayak. It was a beautiful bright day, and all Argentinans took the chance to be on the water in the widespread channels of the river mouth, with whatever watercraft they had.
It was quite a traffic everywhere! Small and larger motorboats, kayaks, rowboats, a few sailboats and hundreds of watertaxis and -busses occupied almost every inch of the muddy river channles. Houses were built on almost every shore, until we eventually paddled out into more quiet channels to find our lunch restaurant. After eating we all took a nap in the lovely sunshine!
I was playing with my new video camera on a suction cup pole, but sorry, I have no time to edit and upload anything now. Maybe later!
