The Argentinean paddling permit…

Nelson Castro Beignier, the head coordinator for my trip at the Prefectura Naval Argentina

A BIG THANKS to the Prefectura Naval Argentina, Nelson Castro Beignier, to be so supportive in the long lasting permit process to allow me to navigate solo and without escort boat along the Argentinan coastline!

A multiple pages application turned eventually into a more-multiple pages permit for exactly what I needed and wanted – the official permit from the local authorities to solo paddle the whole coastline of Argentina! Not that you can just put your kayak in the water and go…

They’ll keep an attentive eye on me and will be there in case I get in trouble and need serious help. My position is reported every night to the Prefectura.

Alejandro translates the Spanish permit to me

No, we were not signing marriage papers… 🙂

We are discussing the paperwork

But maybe now we are arguing rather over the divorce papers? You can keep the house, I keep the kayaks…or such? 🙂

Officer Almar, Nelson Castro Beignier, Freya, Alejandro Daniel Carranza, Officer Peralta (translation)

Thanks for your support!

Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal. I must say that you’ve done a very good job with this. Additionally, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Internet explorer. Superb Blog!

I admire the effort and attitude I hope that many yachtsmen Argentines take the example, at least to raise the level.’re unique, kisses. God be with you.
