Flavia made an appointment for me with a good dentist on the Copacabana, recommended by a paddling friend who was supposed to fix the same filling having fallen out already three times after the first fix in Sao Luis and the second one in Recife. A good job, and the price he charged me compared to the other two guys should make it bomb proof now!

This is what took me to the famous Copacabana this morning with a taxi, on a rainy and misty day. Barely any beach tourist to see, and in general I didn’t feel like running around alone in a huge city very much any more. But I have been there…My thoughts to take a tourist ride up to the Christo mountain I also buried when I thought about I still need to food shop for the next leg and actually saw the tourist facilities on the back side on top of the mountain on a picture. Then I rather imagine what you see from the ground allover that the poor famous man is standing fully alone on top of his peak, being a bit mysterious…

I had a medium size neighborhood-supermarket around the corner of my apartment which was rather a delicacy shop. At least I found some nice new things, but was shopping only until Ilha Bela across Sao Paulo were I will have some other hosts and can shop again.

For tonight, the heaviest rains since the last days are announced. Hope all looks good tomorrow!
