My heart was a bit bleeding, as I had to leave out a perfect paddling day with good north easterly winds due to civilization chores, but oh well…tomorrow I’ll get driven back to the spot where I stopeed, and will continue my trip on Saturday.
But I noticed the long-term forecast is extremely changeable and almost useless to think you can get a peak ahead for a week – it changes overnight. Hope Saturday will still be a good paddling day!
I started my day by waking my computer with about 50? tries today, but amazingly at some point it is still starting…I think today it was acupressure besides the mouse pad…
I was allowed to use the washing machine at the Prefectura – thanks! Honestly, that ancient model didn’t seem very trustworthy to me, but it turned out to produce a perfect wash! There was a bit of a water shortage today in Puerto San Julian, and the pressure was down. The guy operating it had to insert a water hose, no hot water, taking a long time. But the tumbling on the washing was as good as it could be!
The same went for the spin-dryer, which operated probably on a higher speed than any modern machine! Out came almost dry, nicely washed and lovely smelling laundry – thanks very much!
I went to the university then for wifi internet, and was sitting on the computer all afternoon. Not much more to tell – will go food shopping now…
