Some online work, then I treated myself today with exploring Rio by foot and shopping a few new dresses for my upcoming talks. I was walking from my city apartment in Urca along the water side until I hit the Rio de Sul shopping center. Honestly I was rather inside an air conditioned place than outside in the humid heat…

Just that short 2,5 km walk gave me a bit of an impression of Rio, being right under the Sugar Cone and seeing Christo standing on the big mountain across the city. I really enjoyed diving into beautiful things after living for months out of one set of clothing and out of one bag of food and having nothing shopped for myself since Cartagena in Columbia…I will have to send a parcel home! 🙂
