One more rest day for body and soul
Pos: here
Loc: Chavez
Acc: Posada Maresia

Not much to report today, sleeping, typing endless past updates on my small cell phone keyboard and screen (laptop is still dead…), walking a bit to shop for water, sewing some broken seems, emailing and calling my family. I am feeling my tailbone nerve recovering, and my energy coming back to tackle the next week to Salvaterra where I am having my “Belem break”, hosted by Gelderson from Rumo Norte Expedicoes. I am looking forward to be among paddling friends!

It sounds like the past few days have lifted your spirits, Freya, after the frightening experience in the Pororoca. I’m glad there is some “reward” after all that hard work! Happy paddling!

Rest up and be ready for this journey to some real rest time. Safe Paddling.
