My kayak got heavily damaged on the stern and elsewhere on driving around
the rivermouth of Rio Magdalena with jumping (and flying) in short huge 4m+
waves on the coastguard boat. Had to go to Santa Marta for proper repair.
Full update tomorrow, too tired now. F…!

You must be SOOOO frustrated the coastguard boat was not nicely shaped like a kayak!! Being forced to break off when half way across, I do feel for you. But hang in there, this baby can be repaired and you will find it easier the further you get.
Won’t be long now.
And a big so sorry for your sickness and thank you for minding Freya to the coastguard. I’ve tried to keep up with her the last 48 years with great difficulties 😉

We can hear your frustration! Take some time to sit or lay down, scan the body with the mind and explore the space between the molecules. This is called hollow body. It is good to do when we want to establish calm and recognize the clear mind. From there you will be able to see better what you should be doing.
This morning Rob and I paddled up a river in Georgia. Going against the river was tiring. Once we reached the turn around spot we turned around. It was so much easier going with the flow than going against it. You still have to work though.
The trees are bursting with life the new leaves are coming out. Once in awhile I would pause in wonder that I was alive and could experience this. I also thought about you paddling out there sometimes against all odds. You can do this Freya just take the time to see how you can use the flow when it is in your favor. Did Mason have a point? Did you go whe the tide was rising? In Kindness, Karen

Oh Damn!!! So different from paddling around Australia, all this interference, but if it keeps you safe, what can anybody say? I hope the repairs will be simple.
