At least no rain this morning, but bad visibility all day. The last three days it was raining long and heavily until lunchtime.
I got back on the old boat from Bahia Solano, with the old crew. They had two days off on the weekend, so they must have recovered well. Still I saw them only throwing a few bags of army ration food on board, no yummy shopping done in Bahia Solano…

They had cleaned the boat from the dissolved card board boxes with the new PFD’s spread allover the boat We have space again now! Back to the Point where I stopped Saturday night, and I was heading straight across the deep bay. By myself I’d not have paddled into Bahia Solano either, and why should I paddle into a bay with beaches I can not land on anyway…so rather leaving this stretch behind quickly!

At least this boat crew knows to keep their distance behind me. I forgot to tell the interim crew from Bahia Solano to do that, so they were driving “efficiently” a distance ahead, let me paddle past, and repeated the same game again while waving at me and cheering me on. They meant it nice, but I rather have my watchdog boat invisible, not to be heard and not to be smelled and not to be noticed at all….

I saw a few landslides cutting ugly scares in the lush green cliffs in this wet area...

Just three times they were speeding off this time to check on some boats, twice disappearing fully behind the horizon for a long while. And once they played kamikaze zig zag high speed driving behind me…not much to do to kill the boredom!

My paddle wasn’t really exiting, a few dolphins, one snake and one turtle to be seen. I wish I’ll soon come into more interesting waters, and nice beaches to land on! The sea will stay calm for a couple of more thousand kilometres…
