Bob Putnam from Deep Cove Outdoors/ Deep Cove Canoe and Kayaks
was organizing the talk. Thanks, Bob!
The Capilano University Performing Arts Center was a professional stage with all setups. Brian, the manager on the technical side, did a great job. Thanks, Brian!

I was happy to sign my epic, Kokatat and THULE promo cards after the talk
Maddie, a talented young kayaking lady, will be on my talk in Victoria again on Friday and we’ll go for a paddle next day! She’s aiming to be the youngest person to circumnavigate Vancouver Island.
Two other “special guests” who made a long way to join my talk were Shawna and Leon from Body Boat Blade on Orcas Island. They were inspiring *me* 7 years ago on my first international symposium in Anglesey with their talk about their circumnavigating Iceland to eventually do the same one day. I’m very sorry we missed a special picture!
Maddie’s “driver”, her dad Dan runs the great website “Westcoastpaddlers“. Have a look!
