Thanks very much to Alejandro Daniel Carranza for not only delivering pronto my proposal to the Prefectura Argentina Naval, but for his help getting the letter in a reasonable format and translated to Spanish!
Alejandros own experience on proposing for his very own expedition “Fin del Mundo a Malvinas” – “From Ushuaia/ Argentina to the Falkland Islands” helped on editing and making contacts with the authorities.
And – there is nothing but an active and skillfull local help! Thanks, Alejandro!
The Prefectura even promised to work on it pronto as well – hope I’m all set with the Argentinan side of the permit process soon!
My permit on the Chilean side is also proceeding – thanks there for the help from the German embassy in Santiago, ambassador Dr. Michael Glotzbach, press and culture referent Dr. Christoph Dorschfeldt, to culture referent Senor Jorge Schindler from the Chilean embassy in Berlin and to Senora Guillén, assistant of the Chilean military attachée.
It will be great to be able to start paddling in time as planned around 1st of September, and having all the necessary permits set already!

On Pixabay you will find both, terrific photos and cliparts. I would imagine several of these images are copyrighted and even though I probably bought some type of license once I bought the digital content I am not going to be sharing those files. It’s possible to even download whole size images without registration.
