Janita Knowles, my lovely host for the next days
A relaxing day at Janita and David’s house, slept a lot, ate a lot, worked on my gear and online, checked maps and planned the next stage to Mackay, about 12-14 days before the next pit stop.
Yes, there may be a cyclone coming on Monday…due to healing my sore skin I need to have off tomorrow as well, and we’ll see then about Monday and the following days…will take it as it comes! The day off today was very much needed and I think well deserved after continuously paddling for 18 days!
