Ricardo from SDK Kayaks in Buenos Aires was so nice to take up on the repair job of the four minor gelcoat airfreight transport damages on my two kayaks.
It looked like an easy job – until he discovered something else: Alsmost the whole front bulkhead broke out of one of the kayaks, plus a bit of the dayhatch bulkhead, though the minor gelcoat damages were in the seamline of the stern area.
The transport guys must have loaded some heavy, but soft stuff onto the boat which was too much for the bulkhead glue on the vibrations of the transport. F… those thoughtless transport guys!
But Ricardo did as much as a great repair job as someone could do – THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!! MUCHOS BESOS!!!!!!!!!!!
